Leaving Koh Lanta

Our last day on Koh Lanta was spent enjoying breakfast at The Drunken Sailor followed by a trip to Marie's favourite beach to frolic in the water, laze about on the sand and catch a few rays. The bike had to be back by noon requiring some time management.
Once the bike was gone we visited our other favourite spot, Monkey Bizness and while sitting there along came our chicken man. He drives a Tuk Tuk as a mobile kitchen with a BBQ on the back. That BBQ'd chicken legs are yummy! Add a serving of sticky rice and lunch is complete.

Early to rise in the AM, throw the last few items in the backpacks and away we go to meet our van. Talk about perfect timing, just as we arrive at the lobby the van driver gets out to grab our bags.
A few stops later and the van is full, some German fellows crammed into the back seat. Surprised they fit. Lol. To get off the island we must make two ferry crossings, the first one lasted all of 5 minutes and the second as much as fifteen. The crossings are quick but we were told sometimes the lineups can create quite a lengthy wait time. Thankfully that was not the case. Within two hours the van was dropping us at our hotel.
